Random Dancing - Yet Another Movie Montage

Maybe it's that fresh smell in the air...Maybe it's that warm breeze that occasionally wafts by that signals the end of the long winter those of us in the colder climes have had...Hell, maybe it was just the Super Moon, but the arrival of Spring has given me the urge to DANCE!

Yes, dance. Set to the tune "Cineramascope" by the monster groove band Galactic (from New Orleans), the following video is a compilation of dancing clips from a diverse set of films. I avoided too many "professional" dancers in the clips in order to get things closer to how I might celebrate the arrival of Spring myself.

As with my first montage, the music came first - you can't really hear Galactic's "Cineramascope" without envisioning some booty shaking...And with a title like that, it was a no-brainer.

Movie titles will be added once we've finished the guessing contest over at the RowThree post for this video.

It would make me sad, if you owned all these movies however, there were a couple that made me shudder

Own every single one of them - except for the very first clip, silhouette showering and the triplets doing 360s (which were all from one of the That's Entertainment movies - which I also own) and the kids in the ice cream parlour (that was a rental).

So what made you shudder? It's OK - I can take it.

The cheerleading one?...not to spoil it for Row Three, but things were being 'brought'. But some of my personal faves are there, the obscure and the not, very fun clip

Awesome job, Bob! I will have to get the full list of films used from you as there are some (especially the Japanese ones) that I have not seen yet.

Also, is it alright if I share this montage on my blog this Friday?

Hey Courtney...Yes, by all means share on your blog! I love the sharing! B-)

Most of the list is coming together at the RowThree link in the post - I'll probably fill in the blanks in the coming days since we're getting to the less familiar titles.

Thanks for the comment!

Um . . . wow!

I wouldn't be quite sure exactly where to stick them in, but there are some mistakes on that list...

Bob Turnbull said...

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if I made a few errors in transcribing which scenes were where. Dave, can you email me where you think the mistakes are? I'll fix them asap...

And thanks for the "wow" Peter...Complete with exclamation mark too! I can't ask for more than that...

I retract my statement, they fly so fast I got a few mixed up and got a little defensive about my favorite film...Bob knows the one...My bad

Good show, Bobbo... Jolly good show! That is a definite 'feel good' montage.

I really hope you don't mind, but I just posted this video on my blog as well. This is literally my favourite film montage online, and I've been seeking out Funky Forest and Only Human ever since I saw it.

Mind? Ha! Share away Nick! B-)

And if this has introduced you to Funky Forest and Only Human - well, that just makes my day...

Thanks for giving me the ok for posting this, and thanks also for directing me to the endless night film noir montage, which I now can't stop watching!
